Meet Hamsa (left) and Fatima from Iraq. They are two of our newest students. Hamsa's mother is an English and chemistry teacher. She is helping Hamsa learn English very quickly. The head covering some of our female Muslim students wear is called a hijab, pronounced HEE-JOB. In some countries wearing a hijab is optional- the girl chooses whether or not she wears it. Sometimes it has to do with the girl's age.
